RURAL SCIENCE

Our students work everyday in the gardens and read and write about their discoveries. The real life problems that come from working in the local environment are endless and the students work together to find solutions. The gardens; herb and vegetable, chickens, compost and worms keep the children very busy. They are split up into Rural Science groups who focus on each element.

The Rural Science Extension Groups make decisions for the school, go for funding and liaise with local entities like Horizons. The children lead their own learning and research. The gardens and local environment are used for our learning and understanding our values, of

It is unbelievable what the students are capable of when given the opportunity!
