SPORTS

Sports and physical activity play a key role in the way we run our school.  We are heavily involved in Cluster sports events and also enter a varied range of sporting opportunities as they arise within the Manawatu region.

Our rural kids are active kids and as such at morning tea and lunch breaks we often provide a number of activities for them to participate in, or on hot days during the Summer months, we open up our school pool to allow swimming to take place.

Our Physical Education curriculum units run throughout the term are always chosen with inter-school events in mind to allow our students the best possible chance of experiencing success.

We have experienced a large amount of success over recent times winning the Top Schools Trophy, Te Kawau Swimming Trophy, Small Schools Cross Country Trophy and multiple medals in Tough Kids events all over the Manawatu.
